BLACK BORDELLO
Black Bordello are an art-rock band from South London, fronted by Sienna Bordello, whose emotive soprano, macabre lyricism and wicked sense of humour have been compared to the likes of Björk, PJ Harvey and The Last Dinner Party. Spearheaded by Sienna’s operatic vocals and vivid, elliptical songwriting, their metamorphic brand of alternative rock is enchanted with elements of vaudeville, post-punk, jazz, psychedelia, gothic rock and chamber pop. Since their emergence in 2021, they have released two studio albums, to acclaim from CLASH, Wonderland, Loud & Quiet, Fred Perry & So Young, and their single ‘Nunhead’ received airplay from BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq. After its release and successful headline launch at MOTH Club in September 2024, their sophomore album White Bardo amassed over 80k in organic streams, as well as 18k+ views on their music video for ‘The Garden of Earthly Delights’.…
