TOWN OF CATS The fiercely energetic festival veterans pool their love of Afrobeat, Latin, jazz, rock, musicals and trashy 80’s pop to bring their own brand of chaos to the stage. The five part horn section wrestles the sounds from heavy guitar riffs and wild synth solos. The MC and singer prowls the stage like a wild animal, riling up spectators. They have been described as progressive Zumba-core or calypso on Buckfast from some of their sets at Glastonbury festival, Shambala and Boomtown. Fun, sweaty and often ending in nudity, Town of Cats don’t take themselves too seriously while performing like their lives depend on it.
