Programming & Marketing Manager
We're looking for a candidate with previous experience in programming in a similar venue, festival or promoting organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, collaborative individual with interests across various art forms, who wants to create a programme that includes cinema, theatre, cabaret, comedy, live music, visual arts, and interactive workshops for adults and children.

The ideal candidate will have excellent industry contacts, as well as experience of programming, deal-making, contracts, production, and marketing. It will be your responsibility to plan and deliver a consistent year-round, dynamic programme of artistic events, managing ticketing and marketing strategies to bring in audiences, and work with staff on site to ensure the smooth running of events.

Daltons Showrooms & Bar is a brand new arts venue in Brighton, right on Brighton Beach next to the Palace Pier. The venue has a beach bar and large deck outside on the seafront, with a capacity of 250 seated for the public, or 400 standing for exclusive private events. The main space inside features a small cabaret stage, with a seated capacity of 90, or 150 standing. We also have an additional private room to be used for rehearsals, or small fringe shows.

EXPERIENCE
-
A proven track record in programming and delivery of projects across different artforms.

Experience of budget management and all related administration.

An understanding of technical production in a live or exhibition environment.

Experience and networks within the wider arts and creative sector to draw upon when devising a vibrant artistic programme.

Experience in marketing and ticketing systems.
